At Beam, we believe in providing a seamless experience for both creators and their audiences. As part of our ongoing mission to help you engage with your community and earn revenue through your expertise, we currently limit individual 1:1 Sessions to 30 minutes. This article explains why this time limit exists and how it benefits both you and your audience.

Why 30 Minutes?

Short, focused sessions help keep both you and your clients engaged. The 30-minute format allows for a highly efficient and productive interaction, ensuring that each session remains impactful and to the point. Longer sessions can sometimes result in fatigue or a drop in engagement, which we want to avoid to maximize value for everyone involved.

2. Flexibility for You and Your Audience

With a 30-minute limit, you can schedule multiple sessions throughout your day, providing flexibility for both you and your audience. This format is particularly well-suited to addressing questions or offering guidance without the need for a lengthy time commitment. Whether someone is booking a quick consultation or asking for advice, 30 minutes is often the perfect timeframe to deliver value.

3. Increased Revenue Potential

Offering shorter sessions allows you to accommodate more clients within your available time. By stacking several sessions, you can maximize your earnings potential without being tied up in long meetings. The concise format also encourages clients to book follow-up sessions if they require more detailed help, leading to recurring revenue opportunities.

Right now, the 30-minute limit is part of the pilot phase of Beam Sessions. We’re continually improving the platform and gathering feedback from users like you. Based on feedback, future updates may include options for longer session times or custom durations, but the current focus is on ensuring that shorter sessions run smoothly and deliver the best experience.

What If You Need More Time?

While the current session length is set at 30 minutes, there are ways to extend the conversation if needed:

Follow-Up Sessions: Encourage clients to book additional sessions if more time is required to cover their questions or concerns.

Webinars for Deeper Dives: For more in-depth topics, consider hosting a webinar, where you can engage with your audience in a longer, more structured format.
